Before You Begin
Wallguard.com’s rubber extrusions are coated with a white chalky residue known as soapstone, which is used as an anti-sticking agent in the curing and transportation of the products. Due to the industrial applications of these products, many users elect to simply leave the bumpers as is. If a more finished appearance is desired, the following instructions may be used:
Cleaning
Bumpers may be cleaned with an all-purpose spray cleaner such as Simple Green® or Formula 409®. Products such as Armorall® and similar rubber cleaning products provide excellent cleaning and enhanced “sheen” providing bumpers with a clean, uniform appearance.
Maintenance
After initial cleaning of bumpers to remove soapstone, no additional routine maintenance is required. Bumpers may be cleaned on an “as needed” basis as project and conditions warrant.
